Betty + Ray - North Carolina Intimate Spring Wedding

It was the first weekend of spring, and the weather could not have been more perfect for Betty & Ray’s wedding day here in the heart of North Carolina!

Betty had recently moved from Florida to be with her soon-to-be husband and did not know of any photographers in the area, so one day she was searching on instagram and somehow stumbled across my feed in January & contacted me about photographing her March wedding. I was so excited because when we met over coffee, we immediately hit it off! I could tell from the moment we met that she was a sweet and genuine soul.

On her wedding day, we met Betty, Ray & their families at The Hubbard House in Asheboro for their first look and to take the family photos before the ceremony. I love capturing first looks between my brides and grooms because they are such intimate moments between the two.

After the photos were finished at The Hubbard House, we headed over to The Exchange in Downtown Asheboro where the ceremony and reception was held at. You can see take a small peak into their wedding day as you look through the photos I have shared on this blog post. Through these photos, you can see and feel the love and connection that these two have for each other. I was honored to be apart of their day!

A Peak into the Love & Lattes Sessions (Valentines Special!)

Many of you probably seen where I advertised my Love & Lattes Sessions that were held at an awesome local coffee shop/restaurant in Asheboro, The Table Farmhouse Bakery. (My fav!) These were mini sessions focused on couples for Valentines Day & I was blessed to be able to capture three beautiful couples who shared (or did not share) my love for coffee. :D

My first session of the day was with Sarah & Steven. I had met Sarah a couple of years ago at a wedding that I was a bridesmaid in. She was the director! When I saw that she had booked one of these I was super excited to see her again and to meet her husband! Her sister has booked a few sessions with me over the last two years, and warned me about how much of a cut up Sarah’s husband would be. & she was right! He had me laughing the entire session! It is always good to have clients who know how to have fun during their session! (Especially if they are not looking forward to having their photos taken, which is the case with many men… haha! It is good when they can have fun with it! I encourage fun and laughter during your session!)

My next couple was Marty & Aimee. I also knew Aimee before their session from a wedding that I photographed in November! She came to help the bride with her dress and everything at her bridal portrait session that I did before the wedding and I got to know her fairly well there, and then of course at the wedding. I was so excited to see her again! These two were such naturals in front of the camera and I could totally feel the love these two have for each other!

Andddd last but not least, I was excited to meet Kendra & Trent for the first time! & come to find out, we have most likely crossed paths before because we attend two separate churches that are right up the road from each other. Both churches have held many services and some events together and such. Small world! These two were so much fun to capture and their daughter tagged along and I think she was very entertained by some of the poses I made them do! :)
